Marie Caruana

About

Marie Caruana's practice focuses on corporate law. She assists company directors with all their start-up, external growth and restructuring projects. She is deeply involved in the Social and Solidarity Economy, in particular by assisting with the transfer of companies to Scop and by being a member of the Nantes Bar Association's SSE Commission.

After taking her oath of office in January 2006, Marie worked as an associate at RUBY-SONET, advising and litigating in various areas of law.

In 2012, she founded the law firm RUBY-CARUANA, specializing in business law, in a variety of sectors and for companies of different sizes. In 2018, she joined the Confédération Générale des Scop, becoming its legal director. Marie developed an expertise and an appetite for Scop (cooperative production companies) and Scic (collective interest companies).

She then joined KPMG Avocats in Nantes in 2022, as Associate Director specializing in corporate law, and finally decided, in September 2023, to set up her own practice structure.
