Aqdas mainly intervenes in industrial risks and insurance to secure company activities (audits, contractual arrangements, assistance in choosing the most relevant insurance coverage) and when mobilizing property insurance policies and civil and decennial liability policies.
She has also developed expertise in construction law and regularly assists construction stakeholders (companies, BETs, contractors, maintainers, subcontractors) in the context of litigation procedures (administrative and judicial) and expert assessment measures. In particular, Aqdas deals with issues relating to claims before receipt, technical malfunctions of products and production installations in the construction sector, the responsibilities and legal guarantees of manufacturers and similar entities and the recovery of market balances.
She also assists her clients during institutional arbitration procedures (CCI, CMAP, LCIA) and ad hoc arbitration procedures in the context of internal and transnational disputes.
Before joining Squair, Aqdas was an associate at the law firm Tesla (now Altes) before creating her own Aspen Avocats store in 2019 dedicated to alternative dispute resolution methods. She is a lecturer in business law and economic law at the University Panthéon-Sorbonne Paris 1.
