Bérénice is a lawyer at the Paris Bar & representative of artist-authors. She advises artists, publishers, producers and distributors in their creative projects, in the physical world and in web3.
With a French-American background and professional experience (Paris & Washington DC), she works in copyright law, design law, trademark law, new technology law, personal data law and commercial law in the cultural sector.
Bérénice assists French and international clients in the protection (filing of IP titles), the valuation (valuation of an IP portfolio) and the defense of their intellectual property rights (infringement proceedings, unfair competition, unfair competition, parasitism, parasitism, infringement of image rights, defamation).
She teaches literary publishing law to students of Masters 1 and 2 “Book and publishing professions” at the Sorbonne. She is a member of the research laboratory of the Center for International Intellectual Property Studies (CEIPI) and an expert in literary and artistic property referenced by the European Commission and the National Institute of Industrial Property (INPI).
