Morgane Roussel has been a member of the Marseille Bar since January 2017 and intervenes, both in advice and in litigation, in all matters related to maritime practice, insurance and international trade. She represents various players in the maritime world such as shipowners, charterers, freight forwarders, P&I clubs, as well as civil liability and Hull & Machinery (H&M) insurers. She has also developed expertise in commercial law and contract law.

Morgane is a member of the Management Committee of AFDM (French Maritime Law Association), of the Standing Committee of Young People of the International Maritime Committee (YCMi) and of the extended committee of the Transport and Logistics Law Commission of AIJA (International Association of Young Lawyers).

Morgane regularly speaks as a speaker at the international conferences of the CMI, YMLA and AIJA, and is a member of the CMI's international working group (IWG) on autonomous ships (MASS). She also publishes articles in the French Maritime Law Review (DMF) on various topics such as autonomous ships or force majeure in the context of the crisis in the Red Sea.
