Maximilien Plaisant joins Squair as a partner

A lawyer since 2018, Maximilien advises companies and their managers in dealing with their economic difficulties or those of their partners, whether at the stage of preventive procedures (ad hoc mandate and conciliation) or collective proceedings (safeguard, receivership and judicial liquidation), and all resulting litigation situations (liability and sanctions of managers, litigation related to the verification of liabilities and claims).

Maximilien also has significant experience in banking and financing law. He thus regularly assists his clients in debt restructuring cases via preventive procedures or the takeover of companies in difficulties/transfer plan (assistance to creditors and co-contractors, buyers in the search and identification of targets in collective proceedings and development of the company takeover project in order to defend it before the Commercial Court).

More generally, Maximilien also acts in business litigation before all civil and commercial courts, in disputes related to economic activity (commercial litigation and banking litigation) and company law (conflicts between partners, dismissal and liability of managers, post-acquisition disputes).

Before joining Squair, Maximilien worked for leading law firms in Paris (Dentons) and Lille (Cornet Vincent Segurel).
