Squair contributed to the raising of funds for the acquisition of the 77 original plates of the comic book “The Beast is dead! ”, designed by Calvo. These historical plates, of national importance, are thus part of the BNF collections.
Published during the war, “The Beast is dead! ” is a unique testimony to the history of the Second World War, and more particularly to the first representation of the fate of Jews in concentration and extermination camps. A moving story, in the form of an animal fable.
Squair is proud to participate in the enrichment of the national documentary heritage in its capacity as a sponsor.
