A lawyer in public law for 15 years, Romain has a very solid experience in advice and litigation in environmental law and land use planning. He holds a certificate of specialization in environmental law, issued by the National Council of Bars and Law Societies. Romain is involved in all legal issues related to the environmental and energy transition and to public real estate.
It supports development and economic development projects, innovative sectors for the production of renewable energies and the recycling of products and waste. Its activity includes the regulation of activities with environmental impacts, the control of industrial emissions, the integration of natural and technological risks, and the preservation of natural resources and biodiversity.
He advises and defends his clients on the subjects of environmental authorizations (ICPE, waste, water, protected species), urban planning authorizations (building and development permits, ERP, assets, expropriation), and all the tools for planning public action.
Romain worked for several years in leading Parisian firms in environmental law and public business law (Huglo Lepage Avocats and Atmos Avocats) before joining Squair in 2023.
